Tilt Table Test

You lie flat, then the table tilts you upright to about 60-70 degrees and holds you there. Your heart rate, blood pressure, and symptoms are watched the whole time to see what makes you faint.

This is a free, plain-language patient education guide written by Rias Ali, MD, FACC, a board-certified interventional cardiologist. Every guide is grounded in current peer-reviewed evidence and major society guidelines, organized in a way patients can actually use during a visit.
